The waiting game..........

so had a call from my dad about an hour ago to say that my sister has been taken into hospital at 8am this morning due to the start of her labour.............. so now i'm just waiting for the phone to ring to tell me i'm an auntie...............

i was thinking about going out on the bike...... but do not want to miss that phone call and then my chance to go and see her.

so my wait starts now...............

can't only her husband can be there.... no other family members are allowed until the baby is born, and then 2 people at a time during visting hours (can understand why tho)

It didn't always used to be like that did it? Seems so daft, should be the lady's choice who she wants there, mind you maybe it is lol. Can't imagine it's great to have an audience

But you can wait at the hospital and not be in the room, and thus not one of the two in the room.

Yes, but these things can take quite a while sometimes so you might be better off waiting at home by the phone Lily
