Default Brake light not playing.

Got a strange thing. The brake light isnt playing ball.

Bikes been stood for 5 days (yea i know ive been away!) However its gone very intermittent then stopped. Thing is its on both brakes so its not ike pressure or a switch.

So is there a common point? or am i just going on a wiggling session at lunch?

Check the bulbs and the wiring under the rear seat, you may have a lose connector or a chaffed wire.

Check the connector block at the rear into the brake light itself, you should be able to get to it if you take the rear seat off.

If it is intermittent I wouldn't think it is the bulb, is there any dodgy wiring?

Undo the two screws on the rear lense and twist a bulb out, the spec is written on the bulb (don't forget they are twin filament bulbs, one for the tail light and the other for the brake light).

Tis like running a peaky 2 stroke motocross bike... only except for the proper mixture of high octane fuel and best quality synthetic premix oil ... you need to get the ratio right between gentle skilled caress and brute force.
