found out i'm using a iris chain , it is quite new and in very good condition . is it worth changing to better one or will it be ok until better weather arrives ?

They are a cheaper chain, but should be fine untill it wears out.

Keep it lubed, little and often, and it should be good for many thousands of miles.

Most do, apparently there are a few exceptions but I am yet to see one in the flesh.

I had a IRIS chain fitted , after 8k it was completely worn out ( normally get 20k + out of chain) , complained and got a Tsubaki chain + sprocket replacement for free ( result)
The Tsubaki chain has been fitted for 10k and not needed adjustment yet ( scotoiler fitted).
I would keep the IRIS until its worn out but would not use IRIS myself again

Cheers Steve

That's about the experience I've seen. They're facking mince, but not normally prone to failing dangerously.
