Default Ryanair, Belgian Railways and Headaches

So here's the situation, I'm off to Eindhoven, Netherlands in March to sing with my choir. Flight were originally left to our ring leader to sort, however this went slightly belly-up. As a result, I've spent most of today booking the ball ache journey of a lifetime:

Birmingham -> London Euston (Virgin)
Walk (Euston Road)
London St Pancras Int -> Bruxelles Midi (Eurostar)
Bruxelles Midi -> Antwerpen Centraal (SNCB)
Antwerpen Centraal -> Eindhoven (Nederlandse Spoorwegen)

And back again, stopping overnight in Brux on the return :/

£90 return. Flights were £65 originally, but they seem to be £165 now.

Pikey airways (Ryanair) in common with most low cost carriers move the prices up and down according to demand, the headline fares are only available on a limited number of seats per flight. If you check the prices a number of times for a reasonably sized party that can trigger a price rise as the computer systems register the interest.

We operate to Nice and as the Monaco Grand Prix approaches the prices go higher because they know folks will pay them, this is the way of the low cost airline
