Default SVN vs SVS bar position.

While messing around with The GIMP I thought I would share this.....

Basically its an S overlayed on a N - shows the difference in bar position quite nicely so I thought I would share.

I thought the fork angle was very slightly different on the N to the S - or was that the superior curvy model?

I remember when my red SV used to look that shiny

Interesting - the bars on the nekkid don't look as ludicrously high as I first thought. Haven't had anything other than clip-ons for so long that every time I sit on a nekkid bike it instantly feels unnatural but as all the nice looking bikes these days are semi or totally nekkid I'm beginning to think my next one might be in the buff.

I find that manufactures out on handlebars that are never quite wide enough - I don't like how un-wide the SV-N bars are, and the same with the fazer.

Best of both. A naked with clip-ons.

That composite was created using the 06 pics from the main site.

I cheated and just grafted the fairing/bars and tops of the forks from the faired SV onto the body of the naked, mainly because it was fiddly deleting all the background bits, and that I wanted something a little consistant to work with.

I did, however, do a rough clean-up and there were no differences that couldn't be written off as camera angle/position.

They look to be, due to more fork protruding from the top of the top yoke as standard on the naked, however the top yoke is a different thickness. So the geometry is practicaly identical.
