Default Highway Pegs?

Does anyone have any info about highway pegs? Custom, aftermarket, where to mount, etc...

No I don't want a cruiser, I don't want a knee cramp. Riding more than 2 hours at a time is pretty cool to me. Anybody?

i have Nate's MotoSliders on mine (not sure if you have them there). Without the lowers, they're great for resting my legs on during long slab rides

I realize this question is dated, however -- putting highway pegs on my 2002 SV650 has been a vague idea of mine for some years.

Last weekend, and a year after having sold the bike to a close friend who's short of stature and plans to use the bike for sport-touring, I finally acted on it. After a day's worth of prototyping, I came up with this simple, inexpensive, rather homely homemade solution:

On the handlebars of course. Silly question.

Plenty. Though not evident in the photos, those are fold-up pegs that aren't used in the twisties; only on the boring slab. In the 'up' position they don't extend wider than the frame sliders, since that would of course defeat the purpose of the frame sliders.
