Looked at these a year or so ago (was in the US, ended up getting $3,000 US of icon kit for me and my wife :P)
Would have loved some of the Icon helmets, but not legal for use in the UK, so no use buying. It IS a nice lid tho.

why is that? in terms of comfortability, and overall general protection i dont see how you could get much better. |

Basically Icon have not sent a bunch over to be tested to get rated against the EU protection system.
So as they are untested against that system, you cant wear them.

I live in the US so this is interesting to me. Are you sure it is for that reason? Its not because of a safety or malfunction on the helmets? I want to get the Icon team merc.
