Apologies for what no doubt will be a very simple question for those of us in the know!? (Not me).
![]() Anyway, noticed tail was dim on right side this morning. Checked tonight and I found out there are two bulbs in the tail!? In the right hand one, the filament for the light was broken, but the brake light filament in tact. Noticed in the housing that P21/5W is inscribed either side of the bulbs. Is this what I ask for? i.e. Please Mr Motorcycle Man may I have a P21/5W please? Can they be bought from Halfords? Thanks in anticipation of your help. Tony from milder Burnley ![]() |

It's a standard automotive type stop/tail lamp.
be aware that there are 2 types, one with the 2 bayonet pins level and one with them offset, see here for example. The offset one is termed BAY15d, or a type 380 the level pin version is BA15d, or a type 381 I can't remember what the curvey SV uses, I'm pretty sure it's the offset one, get one out and double check which it is when buying.

Cheers Embee.
I am sure the Haynes manual mentions an offset. I will check tomorrow morning. Thanks Tony |
