Default Thieving........

Well had Rictus round for a visit, went out with him to have a look at the damage to my SV.

On getting to my garage I notice that it isnt locked, so think that I must have closed the door with the lock inside - has happened before but very rarely.

Then when looking for the lock on the shelf where it would be I notice my Lid is missing, as are my gloves, but no sign of the lock.

I check to see if the lock is hanging on the hasp, and discover the hasp broken, an Rictus spots that the padlock is on the ground.

So basically they kicked the lock off the hasp and nicked my lid and gloves.

So NOT happy.

No sign of the cops - guess it will be tomorrow evening before they make it.

Have re-locked the garage, heres hoping they dont come back and do it again......

8 month old Shoei XR1000 Cutlass in black and a pair of Spada WP gloves are whats gone

Bike now has a big D-lock through the wheel.

If I had the light I would have locked it to the SV....

Might be worth getting one of those cheapy movement sensing alarms to put in your garage. It's a deterrent if nothing else and you might hear it if you garage is by your house?

Might just do that - OR.....

I have one of those cheapish bike alarms that I never fitted - could wire that up to the back of the door.

Indeed as Dave said I was there at the discovery, most annoying and frustrating no doubt, almost appears breaking in for the sake of it and just taling what was nearest the door.

My suggestion at the time as well funnily enough.
