The nearest offer option i believe is only for people who have a feedback score of around 10+, as are some of the other features on ebay. So if youa re a new user, then im affraid you wont be able to what you need to do.
Pay pal fees, hmm, i cant rememebr but they come out of the money you transfer, but i cant remember the actual percentage |

Try and avoid using paypal, ebay won'tlet you take it off as a payment option but you can try asking the winning bidder to pay via bank transfer etc as you will get hammered with fee's. Or try and sell the item on the related forum.

paypal is about 3% so it adds up if your selling about a grand (£30) but it gives the buyer a lot of protection. Who is going to send a grand in the hope that someone you've never met before is going to post you something?
Best way to avoid paypal fees is if it's something you can deliver on offer collection. best way of avoiding listing fees & reserve fees is just list it for 99p. if it's worth anything it will be bid up to something worthwhile. |
