Gilera dna125 thoughts please. - SV650.org

need a bike to soak up the ****ty salty boring commuting miles and i've seen one of these for £500 what do you reckon it's a 01 with 7k on the clock worth a try i thought at least to save the sv from doing the donkey work.

i like em they look funky, good engines too, my siss had a 125 runner and put 30,000kms on it in 2 years.

it's four stroke i think to so it may even be cheap to run/service maybe hopefully dont know what their like for getting hold of part's also i think it's gonna need a bit of a spruce up the exhaust look's about shot.

do you reckon i could bodge an old fuel can on it sure i could bend or bodge the link pipe on.

A mate of mine had one, brilliant little thing, I reckon around town he was faster on it than he is on his SV. Nice cross between a scooter and a bike.

Scooters give better protection from the elements, function over form and all that as its only for commuting on. They look nice if you are are 17 18 years old and its your main bike!
