New Business Opp - Motorcycle Courier - SV650.org

We all know how the times are going, and following a 10% pay cut where I work I'm considering a second employment, the easy option would be Dominoes delivery boy or barman, but I've had another idea.

A friend of a friend of mine used to courier and I've been told stories of him being told (bare in mind I live in Crewe) a parcel needs to be same day'd to Glasgow, and him respectably charging a few hundred quid to do it! You can see where this is going...

However I currently work Mon-Thu 8-5, Fri 8-12, so my idea is Friday afternoon and at the weekend, doing a bit of self-employed motorcycle couriering?

I just thought maybe there are a few couriers on here that could give me some thoughts, or even a bit market research, is motorcycle couriering gonna give me a few extra pennies at the weekend outside office hours?

Just think insurance, and licence...it's come up before !
