Default Tank Respray

My tank on my 2001 650 is looking a bit scratched, was wondering if anyone has had one resprayed and re vinyled? obviously the vinyl needs to be lacquered over..

ive looked at second hand but they always seem to have chips and dents....

thanks
Toby

Just put my 2002 tank in for respray.

The guy said he would be able to mask around the decals and repair the damaged section. Said it had been done to this tank before, so I hadn't noticed either.

Paints the expensive part, he showed me a small tin which he used in the mix. £45!

But he's painting the left fairing panel & the undertray.

He's going to phone me the full quote tomorrow.

Depends on what damage yours has, as to how much you need doing. My tank has no dents, but I tried to remove the unleaded decal, which was under the laquer!

Why do they do this!

Ah I thought I was the only Springsteen fan in the Org.

Got tickets for Hyde Park and as a special surprise for my wife's 40th we're going to see him in Munich. She doesn't know this!

Pity about Glastonbury, but at least it should be shown on the BBC.
