I understand rules about restriction like that....
(Im 19 now, and I have similar situation)

Ive passed my full licenced test...and I have to have for 2 years restriction on my suzuki SV 650 S....
but after two years time to get normal full licence, You have to send your present licence with application to DVLA, and they will send New one (without restriction note on it) to You.
Cheers

Do you have to pay for to have it updated? Im planning on doing some driving lessons so say if i pass my test and have to send my licence off, passing my car test once my two years is up would they update the bike entitlement too?

Well, if you will send your licence to DVLA, after you pass your car test, and youve ridden for 2 years with restriction, they should automatically change your motorbike license, as well. It doesn't seem to me that you will have to pay any extra money to change motorcycle license.

Back here to say how it went, because I will have same situation in a future...I have in my plans to do driving license.

But, it's only my presumption.

Cheers

There is a charge to get it changed.
My licence runs out on the 11th (must remember to post it off) due to the photo on it being too old.
So I now have to pay to keep my licence up to date?!

Cant see a problem with the old paper ones....

Oh and if you do send off your licence to the dvla, photocopy it first for proof of entitlement as they have a bit of a habit of losing information.

I lost my class one for a few weeks when I moved house...cant see how by changing the address they managed to lose an entitlement!!

Dont think you need to send anything off when the restriction is up.Somewhere in the small print on your license it says <25KW for two years and there is a date.So it automatically updates after that time.
