Hi everyone
a bit of advice required....I am looking for quick action throttle for my SV650 mintwin race bike, any recommendations and prices I should be looking to pay? also I have a GXSR fairing on the bike which I am looking to replace as I am unable to drop brake & clutch levers for a more race like posture as the clearance between lever and fairing is very tight and I am in danger of trapping thumbs.... not a good thing when going round Edwinas/Hairpin/Bus stop at Mallory!! Thanks for your time in reading this. Steve |

I think I read on the Org that just using an R6 throttle tube is a good solution to improving the long action of the standard. Whether that's good enough for racing I don't know.
i bought one, but haven't got round to fitting it yet. Only costs a tenner so it's a cheap mod

Did mine with the R6 throttle tube and TBH the difference isn't that great, certainly not for racing. Worth it fot the massive price of £11.80 inc vat (Tube, Grip and other side matching grip) All it does is stop you from having to reposition your hand when you give it the beans.
