Default tax disc placement

after some numpty nicked my tax discholder & disc, unfortunately for them my tax disc was out of date (new one hadn't been delivered). I have bought a new holder and wondered where is the best place to put it to stop other numpties nicking it.

Mine's on the pillion pegs and has never been stolen. Don't think anywhere other than under the seat is safe though....

At home is safe. The computers do everything now anyway.

If you are looking for somewhere which will stop it being stolen then I am afraid that there are very few places available. Remember, if you can put it on they can take it off.
When I had my faired pointy I was going to take the screen off, use clear sticky backed plastic (fablon type stuff) and tape it onto the clock assembly. Then, when the screen is back on, even a tinted screen, it can be seen but is awkward to get at.

I always scan my licences, keep the originals at home and then cover the copies in sellotape and place on the bikes. The sellotape keeps them dry for the year and if they should get nicked there are always the originals.
