Default BKS Leathers

Hi all - I am battling to find any info on BKS leather other than that from the manufacturers website (not sure if that is a good thing or not)

I have my eyes on these

http://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/p...20Piece%20Suit

and wondered if anyone had any opinions.
Any suggestions for any other 2 pice suits in that range would also be great!

Cheers
J

Heavy and over priced IMHO
Better off with MJK

BKS now a brand name of another maker. Brian Samson claims that there will be no erosion of quality, and whilst I don't wish to be cynical, time will tell.

My leathers were made by BKS not the new brand owner, and are excellent, whilst I don't doubt the new variety will be good quality I can't see it being the same bespoke stuff - but I'd be glad to be quite wrong.

I believe Lozzo may well advise different makes to look at as BKS are owned by Frank Thomas now (shame as BKS were the business) who he or everyone else it seems are not very keen on. Berik/Arlen Ness can be had for similar money as can Madif and Wolf (all are made in the same Korean factory off the peg, Wolf tailor mades which you can have from £500 up are made in Leigh on Sea which is where I'm getting mine done),

MJK is pricey although excellent reputation as are Crowtree, Scott Leathers and Hideout. Hideout are from £700 to £1250 for off the peg, add on 20% for tailor made

I like the Arlen Ness one and by all accounts are very well made. I was about to buy the Titanium but changed to Wolf last minute due to being in the shop that makes them!

As the guy said, BKS are now FT, sadly FT dont seem to have the quality they once did. I can recommend Berik, as I have their GP Pro Titanium suit which I got from Harpers motorcycles in London. Very well equiped suit for the money, loads of serious armour. Check them out. Arlen Ness are more or less the same but tend to be more pricey!
