Default Is this an SV fuelcap?

I ordered a replacement pointy ignition / lockset from ebay and this is what's come -

It doesn't look like my old fuel cap, so I'm wondering if they've sent me a curvy ignition by mistake?

Are the electrics / connector the same for the ignition block?

Just a bit annoyed as the picture / description said 2003 onwards so if it does turn out the whole lot is off a curvy they've sold me a part that could have at least a couple of years more wear.

Aye. Have you had a peek? Probably easier said than done on a faired bike but you could look at the wire colours on your existing one and the type of connector.

Thats a curvy one.

Pointy look a bit different, don't know if it will fit though.

Will it work with the pointy? I'm leaning towards sending it back even if it does due to them fibbing about the age / condition...

Dunno!

I know the pointy has a different tank filler hole etc. so I'd hazard a guess at no.
