Nitron race shock SOLD

My SV is nearly 2 years old and its time to replace it so i am starting to take off the parts I have fitted. I am selling a NITRON shock the part number is NTBKS26-T. I am going to put it on EBAY on Friday if nobody on the Org wants it. Have a look at the NITRON website to see how much this quality shock costs (£445 + 15% vat). I will be listing more parts over the next few weeks as I get round to removing them from my bike. Make me an offer via PM if you want a bargain. The shock has only done 2500 miles. The shock fits all pointy's. I am looking for £275 ono.

what kind of rough figure do you have in mind?

What weight are you and was the shock specifically sprung for your weight on an SV? Do you have the user manual for the shock?

I am 12.5 stone(naked). and the shock was sprung for my weight. I do not have a manual.

Just to jump on this, New springs from Nitron are £30, piece of pee to fit (they will calculate the right rate for you.)

AND I have a spare 575KG/mm if you are of the larger persuasion. (read 20st+ pillion)

I apologise for this not being particularly connected to the sale.

But you really need to change the valving of a shock to suit the spring.

I apologise too, but I can't see why it would . The linkage remains the same - all the spring does is regulate the stroke and ensure that it is in the correct range for a given weight (preload + lard)

Negative dear fellow,

I had the same concerns, so phoned them up had a little chat.
Nitron claim the damping is the same regardless, (it is 30 click adjustable comp & rebound).

to quote Nitron "normal setup is 10clicks out from full hard, but adjust to taste"

I'd hope they know thier onions.
