...then you'll certainly find it there. We were exchanging PM about this place, Daz was asking do I know it. Not the precise park, no, but I know the area - it's on the south side of Lake Vyrnwy, and a more beautiful place would be hard to find. You can see some of the forest in the pics. It's just stunning, with red kites flying overhead. My phone (Orange) doesn't work at Vyrnwy, so I'm fairly certain that there would be no signal at Pont Llogel either. Nearest town is Welshpool, probably 15 - 20 hilly and twisty miles away, Mach is 25 - 30 Welsh miles the other way. The river is the River Vyrnwy. Would need to have a big car (to carry the beer from Morrisons at Welshpool! - nowhere closer I'd say. Great for doing sod all, fishing, and taking a dinghy out on the lake.

Park looks well maintained and van looks in good nick. Furnuishings included? - even if not to your taste, it would cost a fair bit to replace them. Site fee reasonable? Is it all year round or winter restrictions? No ban on bikes? Any play area for the kids?

Looks lovely. Next time I head out that way I'll take a detour

the site rates are £1300 pa plus lekkie and gas, like i say the caravan is very well looked after and the inside is immaculate, its just the 13 year old stigma and the 9k price tag thats making me think a little more, there is a playground for kids and the site owners kinda vet you when they meet you

they say they like it quiet but bikes are ok

i think its all night partys they dont want.

i like the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere (am i sad) i think its because where i live its so busy and work can be a nightmare.
