Well, I'm pleased to say that I've put Zig's hand in the air for him and he has very kindly offered to sort out a route and lead a ride (so quite why it's me starting this thread, I don't know)...

Anyway, it will be:

This Saturday 30th May

Starting from: ? (I'm guessing The Ace - which is just off the A406 North Circular, near Hanger Lane / A40 junction - here: http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?x...earchp=ids.srf)

Meeting at: ? (not 9am I'm supposing, as it's Zig; but maybe 10am / 10:30am?)

Going to: ? (somewhere north of London)

This is a nice friendly rideout open to all, whatever your riding pace / experience. We'll stop for lunch somewhere, usually for pub grub.

The forecast for Saturday at the moment is plenty of sun and about 23C.

If someone's coming from Thatcham/Newbury/Reading area I can meet prior to event, if it's OK we can meet up earlier and I can follow over to the Ace and then go from there... I get lost and haz no satnav

Yeh lets say 10am meet at The Ace Cafe, ready to leave by 10.30. Thats about enough time for a coffee and a fag if thats your thang. if you wanna have some brekkie then get there a little earlier please

Oh and as usual please be fueled and ready to leave by 10.30

Sv is off road (no tax & needs tyres) and i wouldnt comfortably cope with the 675 through london, hence why its train up to Matts on fridays
