Default Mr Spiers down :(

Mr Spiers had a fairly dramatic off today on the Snake Pass, but for anyone who got random texts he is pretty much OK after a visit to Tameside hospital

It safe to say that it will definitely not polish out as the bike burst into flames taking out half the ferns on the hill side with it.

At least your ok mate and have the duke to look forwards too, no doubt Binky will be along soon with pics.

We were really shocked to hear about this earlier Britney, but glad you are relatively unscathed.

Thanks to Binky for keeping us updated!

Hope your wallet wasn't under the pillion seat though

Wallet with £60 in and his Iphone

I managed to find his Keys amongst the wreckage Suprising when the fire was so intense it completely melted the swing arm and wheels.

Seriously it could have been so much worse though, I felt really sick when I saw it happen and cant believe he got away so slightly I was thinking the worse. If he had hit the armco uprights slightly differently or something was coming the other way this post could have been a whole different story.

He managed to dent the armco upright fairly well with his ribs though.

Oh dear, so he'll be applying for another replacement licence then!

It's always shocking when you see someone come off, you wouldn't be human if it didn't affect you, but Britney's sounds like a really scary one to see. Fire is frightening. He certainly seems to have been lucky to have escaped with minor injuries.

Blimey Britney this is the last thing I wanted to hear. If there's anything I can do to help just give us a shout.
