Default Ride on the other side

Went for a long weekend ride through some remote areas in the mountains and forests.. across the pond here in Virginia and North Carolina.

Sorry not the best of pics.
Not a lot to choose from as I was only able to take a few.
After the first day it was raining for most of the trip.
Still had a great time!!!

One of my favorite places to stop.

This waterfalls has a large pool at it's base formed from the rock.
Water overflowing the pool runs through a pipe under the road.
You can see at the top, on the right it has third "vein" that also empties into the pool.
It's situated in the middle of a sharp bend and the other side of the drops off a cliff so it's seemingy impossible to photograph the entire falls.
Larger than it looks in this pic.

If you ever wanted to learn how ride tucked in behind the windscreen....
Try the inside line at "The Rock".

275 miles into the first day and the SV is still clean!!
(although parked on the only piece of trash in sight!!)
Was not clean when it got back home.
(Don't worry as soon as she got home she had a nice bath before being tucked back in under her flannel sheets)

One of the many places in the world known as "Lovers Leap".
This one near Stuart, VA

Another view.

Storm coming over the mountain

Clouds and sun on the mountains

The roads that didn't offer mountain top views all looked like this.
Nothing but nice tarmac and forest.

Some old git on an SV

That looks really, really good! Those roads through the forest look perfect and I love the rock bend! How many scratches are there on that?

You are a lucky man, having all that space to play.
