Default Broke down

So was on my way home from a nice ride the weather is beautiful, happily cruising along pull up to the lights glance down at the rev counter and it goes mental and starts redlining i take my hand off the throttle and it continues its mental spree, so i flick off the ignition quick go to start her back up and then...nothing the lights won't even come on.

i push the bike to the roadside and have a butchers, noticing a small puddle of clear liquid on my rear hugger battery fluid maybe? so i call up the RAC who say there really busy and will be an hour or so...

i say "ok thats fine" and sit down on the grass watching the traffic go by, texting my mum to let her know whats going on. so about 1 hour later the RAC guy turns up, takes off the seat, sees the battery is close to exploding and says "theres your problem" so he can't do anything about it on the roadside and offers the sorely needed advice "if you had a car i could give you a tow" well unfortunatly i don't have a car! so he leaves and says the recovery will be with me in an hour...

One hour later im sitting sunburnt getting stared at by all the people going by, thinking to myself why me? the recovery guy turns up and gets my bike home swiftly so kudos to him. the only good part about braking down is the amount of bikers who stop to check if your ok.

After talking to the RAC and recovery they both said the same thing which was the problem was with the "regulator rectifier" which is the same part i replaced 2 months ago! silly sv makes me want to sell it

hmm, your right, sell the SV and sel me those pipes!

Only kidding, unless you want to sell them......

Anyway it sucks breaking down, i had a clutch cable go on me and had a ncie long wait, as well as a nice 2 hour drive home in the recovery truck! Does suck, but i do love how many bikers will always stop to check your ok!

Like the small plate under the seat btw

I found the same thing when I had the off on the pointy.

Must have had about 20 bikers stop to see if we were ok.
Cant see that happening in a car...
