Would you sell?

In between minds at the moment! Thinking of selling the FZ1S as I haven't been out on it for ages and again there is no prospect for the near future....i.e. till September assuming we get some decent weather.

I don't need to sell it in terms of needing the money. If I did I would just put the money in the bank and leave them there. During winter I don't tend to ride unless we get the odd sunny day with no ice here and there.

Also by the looks of it I won't be in this country this time next year so car/bike would have to be sold.

So what you reckon? Should I put it up for sale now while it's the season? Bike is in top condition with all the extras you could have, FSH and full MOT.

Opinions?

id say keep it for now! u dont need the money so theres no harm done with it sitting there rather than a sunny day arriving and you going ooh no i wish i had a bike!

Well, if the right buyer came along, and both parties mutually agreed to exchange of X sum of cash for said bike, then maybe you can sell it. Like you said, the money would sit in the bank, and it would be the money you'd get for the bike as its worth at that moment in time...the longer you leave it, the less money you can (theoretically) get for it.

In the mean time, until someone comes along and says "here's a wad of dosh, you want it and i'll have your bike?" keep it

well the bike was sold this afternoon. got what I wanted with all the xtras on so didn't have to take it apart either to remove them

I'll stick around but I'll join the bikeless crew till probably next year

Gotta say i really like em (good all rounder) thinking of one of these for my next bike(although no time soon) if i was in the market for a new bike i might well have been interested.

gen one or two fazers are awesome bikes, very practical and pull like a freight train.
