Buffalo Touring Luggage

I have just bought some Buffalo Touring Panniers/Tailpack and Tank Bag and having never fitted luggage previously, I was wondering if anyone had any useful advice for fitting the panniers and tail pack to a K2 SV.

Tail Pack:
The Velcro strap seems to be too long to go under pillion, and the bungees on the underside of the bag seem too tight when stretched around the bodywork. Has anyone fitted this bag and had any problems? Is there a different fitting solution that I am missing?

Panniers:
When fitting the panniers, I have the Velcro across the top. Where is the best place for the adjustable straps? I was thinking strapping the lower front to the pillion pegs, and the lower rear ones to each under the back of the bike (using one of the straps only). Should it need anymore attachment with bungees elsewhere?
