Default Accessing the computer.

Just wondering if someone could tell me which parts i need to remove on a fully faired K5 to get at the computer? I'm just fixing the speedo on GSXR front end and i've got all the parts ready to go so im just double checking before i end up fully dismatling the bike

ECU lives under the riders seat, but to get to the clocks it's screen and black trim panel to remove.

you dont need to 'get at the computer'. all you need to do is 'get at the speedo plug' to replace the sensor.

Even at that, you coudl just snip the cable mid way and solder and cover the joins, seeing as propper D connectors are impossible to come by over here

Just follow the lead up from the fork leg, it goes into a connector block behind the headstock. You will need to lift the tank and remove the airbox to get to it properly.

oh right ok. I'll have to take the tank off so because the front end was already on but the last owner never bothered with the speedo! thanks for the replies!
