Buell Bikes

Okay,

now this may seem a little crazy - going by my current bike and the lack of experience.....

I really fancy a Buell XB12 Firebolt! There is a dealer in Preston and I called in on the way from Hawes and had a look around. The CBR is a great bike - reliable - quickish and easy to ride. However I am a bit sick of having to rev the engine/ quickstep the gears to get a move on or get round bends. Dont get me wrong - I am not knocking the CBR6, just hankering after a V twin - torque and sound

So - after a bit of advice (Won't be changing if at all till early 2010) on the Buell brand. Have looked at a few on the web and they all seem mega low mileage for the year and seem to sell on quickly. Just wondering what peoples experiences are with a Buell and or any advice on these bikes?

You definately need to arrange a test ride...

Buells are like marmite you either love or hate... Alot of low mileage bikes out there was exactly what I thought when I was looking at one a while back. After speaking with a few former owners they loved them at first but couldn't live with them long term for various reasons

I really enjoyed my test rides but decided against in the end as I need to use my bike day in day out

Get a decent length ride on one and try a range of roads then decide for yourself
