Default Facking theives

Just found out today mine and my Mrs' bank cards had been cloned.

Noticed it only now because they had been keeping to quite common shops, like Tesco's etc, which we do use.

Only reason I spotted it was because I was on online banking and saw a transaction over the AR weekend which couldn't have been me or my missus.

Makes me wonder how long this has been going on for, the amount of times I have seen something on the statement and assumed if it wasn't me, then it was my mrs.

Hope they burn in hell. Makes my blood boil.

Be grateful it was just your card and not your identity...because believe me...that is the biggest nightmare and drags on for years.

Gutted for you though...it stinks to find these things out

Oh dear, thats bad **** fella!
I don't know what you have to do to keep your own belongings to yourself thesee days.....cards included!
Situations like this, seem to happen a lot, and they keep on doing it, by little things as you say Tesco, Asda etc....until you notice 'hang on, thats just not possible' but by then they could have coined rather a lot in tiny un-noticeable amounts.

ps I before E

Well I can claim back from the transactions I recognise but as they are very common shops we use, it's neigh on impossible to track back weeks as we are relying on memory.

Going to start doing weekly reconciliations of my personal bank statement I think...

Who is this Fry fella?

Hangman, now you KNOW it has been cloned I'd suggest picking the transactions you feel are unlikely and asking your bank to investigate, often there are other things that will help, locate the fraudulent ones such as no pin presented when payment is made. After all the pin is the only secure bit, the rests printed on the card and could be taken by anyone you make online payment to,

Both used the same online shop?

Me and fallout both got our cards stolen once, both after using the same online shop.

Before anyone asks we were buying electric motors, nothing dodgy.
