So, who do you think is at fault.
For me it is crystal clear. Marco made an aggressive pass but was in front on the line. Kallio just acted like a spoilt tw*t. How can a rider be in front of you and with you looking at the line they are on and claim you didn't see them. Prize nob. |

everything seems worse in the heat of the moment, I'd forgive him the little push.
Racing incident I'd say, melandri was out of sight of kallio, melandri could have gone a little deeper to secure track position - the arguement could be made either way. There's no point trying to place responsibility, its racing and things like that happen. |

Agree totally. Marco had taken Kallio and was well on the line. Kallio just ploughed right into the back of him. Oh well, another Ducati engine probably in the bin now!

Kalio had a typical I drive a flash car moment, you know, when some knob in a ferrari won't let a micra out because its not even worth 10% of his car. 'I'm on a Factory Ducati ride today, you know different to my normal ride, which makes me better than you, you are not coming through.' Childish, there is no way he couldnt have seen him.
I still like the bloke though. |

EDIT: just re-watched the clips
I thought Kallio side swiped him but he CLEARLY rode into the back of him. Kallio could have easily adjusted his line - melandri had track position, could not adjust his line/brake/accelerate. I think this is a case of Kallio not having the skill to re-adjust his line. |

Nah, I think Kallio wasnt expecting and didnt look. Melandri made a perfectly good pass, no blame at all there. You want to see some of the stunts that get pulled in club racing, far far worse than that.

He shouldn't be riding in MotoGP if he's not aware of what happening around him.
He's also managed to trash 2 of the 5 engines left for the year in one weekend. I reckon the Ducati decision makers are feeling like they need to make another decision. This also means that if/when Stoner returns later in the year, Kallio will have properly wrecked all of his machines for him. I wouldn't be too chuffed. |

50/50 id say, you'd need to be where kallio was looking through his visor to see what really happened, everyone is fighting for track position, kallio is trying to impress, Marco is riding the wheels off that kwak and kallio would have needed split second braking to avoid Marco coming in on his blind spot, at those speeds your concentrating on whats in front not whats coming in from the side. As rossi says "its racing accidents will happen"
