Default Giving to charity - help?

I know it's a bit early but I'm 2hrs ahead at the moment as I'm back home

On the 16th of August we lost C's sister after a 3.5 year battle with the big C!! We are all coping relatively well and thank you in advance for your good wishes. Marilena was a great soprano and also a gorgeous looking girl with a massive heart that loved everyone! Her site is www.marilenasolomou.com if anyone wants to visit it. Most of her work is on there as well.

I would like to do something and collect money for a charity preferably in Cyprus which supports families with low incomes while going through treatments etc.

So any ideas how to collect the money for a charity that is abroad? Also do we have something similar in the UK that is small though not like McMillan Would prefer to help a smaller charity.

Many thanks

So sorry for your loss and my sincere condolences.

A very beautiful and georgeous woman, I`m curious now to hear some of her music. I don`t think there`s any charitys over here similar to what you propose ie. supporting families though I could be wrong. Usually it is the macmillan charity that tends to help people out via macmillan grants etc.

There are smaller charities specific to the various cancers ie. breast cancer, cervical cancer etc.

Again my condolences and R.I.P. Marilena x

Had a look and wow what a fantastic voice Marilena has.

This one bought tears to my eyes and I hope you don`t mind me putting a link up to it. What a talented soprano she is. Her music will live on as a reminder of her beauty x
