Default Tyres feel unstable

Hi,

I'm getting my rear tyre changed tomorrow morning but up until yesterday/today they felt fine, rear only got about 200 miles left but front only about 1000 on and like new, now, coming home from work the tyres were warm after about 4 miles of riding , round a round about off 3rd exit about 10-15 mph and the back slips out at next round about I changed from 5th to 3rd at low speeds let out clutch and rear tyre skids about like on ice, now this morning tyres cold and off a round about 3rd exit again at 10-15 mph and front slips, next r/about 1st exit, again slow and both tyres slip, tyres now warm a few miles down the road at r/about front slips again.

Both days bone dry, it feels almost like there oil on the tyres (have checked and can't feel anything), the front has only gone once before and it has loads of tread, although they are Dunlop Sportmax D207 so that might be the reason.

Ooh and tyre pressures perfect.

More detail: Let me explain, I came to a rolling slow down was at around 15-20mph and changed down so I could pull off the engine didn't rev hard or shunt or use engine to brake back wheel didn't lock up at all, I always ride this way as I was taught to break first change last, and never had this issue before, and the front should be slipping.

you should stop quicker and safer if you go down one gear at a time quickly

If the pressures are OK, then I'd be inclined to think that you have something on your tyres, or a part of the tyre.

Just because you cant see it, doesnt mean its not there, now this is going to sound odd, but give em a sniff, can you smell diesel or something similar ?

If you're getting a new rear tomorrow, I'd be inclined just to ride it there gently get the rear swapped and then get the tyre chap to look at the front for any signs of contamination.

This seems the best course of action.

Cheers

Funnily enough IAM recommend multi-shifting down rather than going through them one at a time.

That'd be late multi shifting wouldn't it?
