Default new pointy, suggestions please

alright guys and gals, was forced over to the dark side when my beloved curvy was nicked, and i ended up with a pointy!
ive had the bike for about two weekd and put about 500 miles on it already. overall im pleased with the bike, the only problem is its a bit boring! it has no quirks or real character, it just works! so now im ready to butcher/mod/personalise it! got about £1000 to throw at it, so i leave it to you guys to suggest what i should do, ill add pics as i modify her.
here she is

how far are you willing to go? can you do most stuff yourself? i quite like it as it is, but i could just a few quid at it i'd buy some rear sets cos i love the look and bizarely find them more comfortable than the standard pegs a fender extender to try and make sure you don't get any water in the front plug this winter. i know these aren't exactly performance enhancers, but there you go

yep, can do evreything myself, i second the rearsets, had valtermotos on my curvy and i miss em!

got a rubber cover over my front cylinder to stop water getting in! so no fender extender for me

yeah, i like tinkering and fixing stuff, so it working flawlessly is boring for me!

ok, mods list so far

Rear sets

Swap it for my SV, mine has plenty of 'quirks' and loads of 'character', but that what you get from a temperamental bike that receives no TLC.

It'd be a nice project for you

Could always do a GSXR front end conversion.
Maybe some flush mount indicators at the front or some mirrors with intergrated indicators?

It does look pretty nice (for a pointy) as it is.
How about doing a couple of trackdays.. not done one myself, but everyone I've spoken to who has says they got a lot out of it and it gave them a chance to see just what the bike was capable of

I'm not sure if throwing money at the bike will give it the 'character' you're looking for. It looks a nice bike so why not just get out and ride it, if everything is working as it should.
