He didn't make it! Guy called Neill Blomkamp directed it. He was suppsoed to be doing Halo, which got shelved indefinitely last year, so Jackson gave the director $30m of his own cash to make whatever film he wanted. This is the film Made back its entire production budget in the opening weekend! Clever guy.

I think it is a great film!

I downloaded this last night and had a quick scan through it and it looks good . I thought the name and style was familiar after watching the Halo trailers that were live action ones over Xbox Live .

oh yeah live action halo absoloutly superb they should just plow ahead and make the film screw it with the amount of fan's the game has it'd never be a loss i reckon.
