675 every time. The R6 makes a lousy road bike.

The R6 is just lousy in my opinion.

The 675 is a lurvly looking bike, I've not ridden one, but when I sat on one I wasn't comfy. The seat is high and angles up at the back which in turn forces a LOT of pressure on the wrists.

Does the Street Triple have a better position? Everyone raves about them!

The R6 I've ridden was a 2004, 7k on the clock..........utterly dissappointed.

(I know that no 2 bikes are ever the same!)

675 for me.

IMO the extra 75cc plus being a tripple will make town riding far nicer than the screamy 4, same reasons I personally find the SV nicer than a 600 round town.

Plus the 675 looks fab and is meant to be an ace handler.

I've owned both! Current bike is a Daytona 675, previous bike was an 2006 R6.

I sold the R6 because I moved to Oz and instead of buying the same again, I thought I would go for the other bike I really liked - the 675.

If I was given the same choice again, I'd take the R6. Most of my riding is on the track though.
