Urgent request for Soho tonight - laptop speakers

Greetings all.

I was wondering whether anyone has any (not too small / quiet - it's to play stuff to a group of giggling drunk people) portable speakers, suitable for plugging into a laptop, that I could borrow for this weekend? I would be very very grateful.

Got a pair I can bring that are loud-ish. Do they need to be battery powered? If not I could try to borrow something bigger from work.

Thanks Jaime. No, we'll be indoors with electricity and everything. I just need to be able to carry them on my bike, so no 6ft high ones or anything.

And will they go up to 11?

Thanks Keith... I don't want anyone to go through the hassle of bringing any along if I'm not going to use them though...

I bunged 'em in my tank bag on Friday but nobody said, "Oi, where's my speakers?" So they're back on the shelf now.
