Default Paypal issues, any experts?

I have had my account limited as someone paid me just over £2k.

I was asked to update my details, which I did and now for some reason I am being told I have a Premier account.

I was also told to verify my bank account, which is still in progress and my credit card, also in progress.

I have now been told I need to send in a bank statement, evidence of tax exemption and more business details.

Apparently I have done something in my profile which suggests I am a charity, probably because the only option I could see under 'Individual' was 'nonprofit'

Paypal on the phone were useless and told me to email compliance, who have yet to responsd.

Advice? i only did a transaction via Paypal as a favour. can the individual concerned claim the money back and we can start again, or am I in a world of pain?

I thought of that (before flymos helpful post, thanks), have refunded him. Hopefully it won't backfire, but whatever 'in your face Paypal'.

Paypal is a PITA like that, I just want to sell some bits, hit some receiving limit and they want to know everything before they lift it.

It's very easy to hit the limit over a year with not that many sales.

Even worse is the buying limit, FFS I'm using a credit card, just let me spend my F**king money!
