Exclamation Electrical failure in Brighton.

hey guys i came down from coventry to brighton to visit my missus and ive been here 4 days, my bike has died . i think its the battery but i cant be sure, ive tried bumping it down elm grove (massive hill) tried jumping it off my mates car all with no results. when you switch the ignition on there are no lights on the dash and the odometer is blank. Does anyone have a spare battery i could buy off them tomorrow or monday or know of a garage around the area where i could go to buy a new one???

thanks in advance for responses.

right what year is it? the kill switch on the early ones stick if you use them a lot switching it on and off a few times normally cures it.

its an k2 02, i dont ever use the kill switch, so i dont think it would be that ive looked at the fuses none of them look burnt like when they blow but without a multimeter i cant check.

no thats fine its tucked down the side of the seat fairing so its in no danger of damage, i don thtink it would have blown cause the bike was a dream all the way down. although is there an easy way of checking?

Yep, take the fuse out and look at it. Should be a continuous piece of matal through it.

Sometimes they can brake and it's near invisible to the eye, I've benefited from physically swapping the fuse for a spare before.

Is it trying to start, are all other electrics working?
