I can get loose wheels fitted at 155 for Avon storms near worcester. Or alternatively, Bikersworld near Worcester (have one in daventry to I think) used to do a set 180 ride in ride out. But that was a year ago.

The fitting was £20 i think. I didnt need to book with them or anything just turned up said this is what I want 45 mins later I rode out with my new tyres. Cant hurt to just give them a call and ask for prices though.

You scrub them in by riding on them lol. once you get them up to temperature the first time, they should be fine. I've never had problems with new tyres.
Enjoy the storms, they are good tyres |

first minor burnout before your pull away gets you a bit of striaght line grip and grip for braking.
next as your riding at a steady 30-40mph weave alittle which gives you more grip but only lean slightly to start with then more and more as they scrub in more. Just be very careful for the first 50 miles and then you can slowly get more and more grip and they should scrub in, in about 200 miles. or let me borrow your bike for the day, oh give me about £50 in petrol money and the tyres will be good to get your knee down ![]() (i will only get about 500 miles on there and i don't accept any speeding tickets you get for that day) |
