Hey guys and gals, I am looking to be touring Europe next year and am trying to get all my kit together.
I have found a really good back protector in the Forcefield Pro Sub 4 (as long as I can buy one...) But, what I want now is a chest protector. Does anyone know of a good one? Cheers |

I know people who do them, I know Alpinestars do them too, but, what is one of the best ones or indeed the best one?

Bit like helmets, buy one made by a reputable manufacturer that fits.

I use the Icon Field Armour vest, which is a spine and back protector in one.

I want one because when I am touring Europe I want to know I am going to be well protected.
Never know when I will find another hay lorry... |

I use an alpine stars track protector vest, this is a spine protector (literally, back coverage is a bit poor tbh) and a ribcage/chest/bladdery-spleen protector all in one. However I apparently still managed to incur a slight 'haemothorax'(?) in my last off despite wearing this. Just bought it cause I got it discounted. If you already own a back protector alpinestars may well make just the chest protection bit seperately, I'm sure I remember them having a surprisingly extensive collection.
...not that I particularly rate alpine stars... or crashing.
