Ha ha! Passed my neighbour last Friday, only she don't know it was me! conversation was something like
her : Some bike riders are utterly reckless! me : Ohh really? her : Yes, some idiot on a silver bike went past really fast, WAVING at me!! If I had got his number I would be ringing the police! me : yeah, there are some right nutters on the road....

A few years back my mate phoned me laughing his head off...
I'd forgot to tell him that the night before I'd seen his mum and dad driving up the M11, so I tapped on the driver's window and gave them a friendly wave - shoulda seen his dad jump! I don't do this sort of thing anymore btw

I popped into a local bike shop whist on duty a little while ago and bumped into a mate. Bit of idle banter between us and I left. Got a phone call from him about an hour later asking me if I'd been impressed. Seems he'd left just after me, got onto the motorway and seeing a striped up Volvo ahead assumed it was me... Imagine his reaction when i told him I drive a BMW... It seems if you go past a police car at full chat on an R1 they don't have time to get your number, but i wouldn't recommend trying it to often!
