motorcycle parking.... fail

This extremeley well thought out motorcycle parking area (not!) has been included in a new car park at The Sutton Bonnington campus of The University of Nottingham.
Who in their right mind will park their bike in the reversing path of parked cars

I think you should point that out to someone sharpish, its not very safe. Also, what can you secure your bike to? Kingston uni has a rail put in at both motorcycle parking area's for people to chain their bikes to. If one uni can do it, so can another!

Well it is the Sutton Bonnington campus of The University of Nottingham after all

actually if there is 6m between the mc bay and the back of the cars its probably acceptable

its however not sensible

at least they got some North Glasgow has diddly squat and not intentions of putting any in - bar stewards

Not much wrong really - I give you Arundel Street in Westminster, London

Slightly poor example as the bay in the middle of the road is empty - but I used to park, 2 bikes side by side, in that bay.

Yeah not the smartest parking postion, but I expect someone gets paid far too much to dream up things like that.

What I hate about bike parks is bloody scooters and mopeds they cram into every gap. I parked yesterday, two of the damn things pushed up against my bike so I moved them to get my bike out. I now park some where else until I get told off.
