Default Is there such a thing as a dual battery maintainer?

-optimate type thing? I have an optimate, but would like to keep both bikes on a maintenance charge while not being ridden.

So is there one that can do both bikes, or do I just buy another optimate.

I have heard of people piggy backing, not sure if it actually worked though.

I have been doing that- my bike has a lead that directly goes to the charger, saving taking the seat off, but hubby's doesn't. The height of laziness I know, but more likely to keep them both charged if I don't have to take the seat off everytime.

You can buy a second lead, just get the one which matches your charger.

Look under charger accessories/leads

If your hubby is a fair weather biker (hey, there's no shame in it) then why not take his seat off and leave it off?

Alternatively a friendly neighbour could take them both out once a week and rip the t*ts off them!

hahaha! I bet his bloody battery still has some charge in it as well. Jammy *******.
I can see your point if we had a couple of Ducatis- didn't think it'd be much fun ripping the tits off a versys!
