Default SV1000 soldiers on for another year

Bike passed the MOT yesterday

Got three advisories - rear tyre is low which I knew - rear wheel bearings have a little play and there is a slight fluctuation in the braking efficiency at the rear so he suggested that the disk is worn. Not too bad considering really - bike has done 22k now and I have no idea of the life it lead before I bought it.

He will swap my worn BT021 for the part worn BT021 I have in the garage roof for £20 - will probably get him to do the wheel bearings at the same time - just looked up the cost of them - ouch!

I was pleased - total cost £29.50 I did think about swapping the disks but they aren't cheap so as they are only an advisory and the brakes feel fine I will leave them alone for now - especially as yesterday we heard we may have to go onto a 3 day week here - not a good time to be buying toys...

I know - management have all taken a 10% pay cut - there is work in the pipeline but its surviving until that point which is the problem - hey ho.

Aaaaannyway - bike is taxed, MOTd and insured until next April so its all good for now
