What helmet after a crash? - SV650.org

Hi

I need anew helmet after a crash, old helmet probably ok but not taking risk, I had a shoei rais 2 but want a change, I have upto £180 and was looking at scorpion, shark, kjc but open suggestions.

Any recomendations?

Got an AGV stealth myself and love it, never had any problems except swapping visors takes a while to do right

Oooh - good topic .......... I'm looking for the same ... xmas present promised !! lol.

Would also prefer flip front if there's a good one for the money ....

ps ....... be sure to answers superstards question first .... no hi-jacking meant from here .....

There's a show us your lid thing that might be good for ideas. I have a bmw prorace, this is my second one the reason I have it is because I reckon the first one did a good job of keeping me alive and (probably part & parcel of that) it fits me well. Also well made and really light.

I swap (depending on mood) between a Scorpion EXO400 and a Nuvo SP2.

They're both relatively cheap, have fully removable liners, are really comfortable, easy visor changes, great paint, d-ring straps, anti-fog, and lots of vents.

I was also looking at roof flip as I found some for about £160, what's people views on ordering through internet?

i think too many people get caught up in ****** brand is best, it was ****pounds so must be the best-if it don't fit you right in the first place your aswell as wearing a g string on your head-try a few on(helmets that is), you'll probably end up going with what you know and get the same as before.If you've binned it before and your still in one piece i'd stick with the same as you had on-it took me ages to get the same hjc model i had before but i managed to track one down-its the only helmet i've found that fits my oddbod nut 100%
