looks good but what is the ornagey light above the plate? or is it a reflector and bouncing the flash back?

Also, read mixed reviews about the integrated lights/indys so let us know how you find them please wont you Amanda. I think they look the business myself.

I looked at getting some when I had the pointy.
After following someone with one fitted though I changed my mind about them.
Yes they look cool but from a distance you cant see which one is flashing.
I seem to remember that they are not road legal either due to the spacing.

Yeah that is the reflector, which is also why I covered the plate cos the first pic I took just bounced the plate back on the camera.

The light is pretty wicked tbh. There are 2 lines of red lights and the 2 orange indicators on both sides of these. When the indicators are flashing the corresponding red light flashes too, e.g. if turning right the right orange indicators flash and the right red lights flash in sinc with the indicators. The left hand red light stays on.
I was worried that with all the lights being so close you wouldn't see the indicators when the brake lights were on but with one side cutting out it is much better.

Other half followed me home from the garage yesterday and said they were just as bright and he had no concerns about them. I will try and get more pictures tomorrow in the daylight.

sint it illegal for the red lights to flash too? Some MOT regulation that says that the ONLY flashing lights on a car in the UK should be orange in colour - or blue if you're emergency services, or green if medic etc????

i could be wrong but worth checking this out Amanda, i'd hate for your pretty new lights to get you points from some unfriendly, jobsworth plod.

Looks good

Don't worry about the illegalities - will definitely not be points and have to be very very unlucky to get a fine imo.

If the indicators are easily seen = good enough for me

They will be an MOT fail as the indicators cause an interraction with the brake light. The space isnt an issue for MOT but will probably be illegal for use on the road

Pretty sure that in construction and use regs these are illegal. Can't remember the full legislation without going upstairs and reading (but I will shortly). I am pretty sure that Speedplay is right with the point about the spacing of the indicators.

IIRC it is also contravening the legislation if your brake lights flash in sync with indys. Apart from indicators, nothing else should flash on your vehicle, unless you are an emergency vehicle. IE Police cars have flashing rear red lights aswell as blue flashing lights.
