I have a shoei XR1000... It is a rediculously noisey helmet, I have since discovered that the visor does not form a particularly good seal around the bumper bits attached to the helmet.
Alledgedly you can adjust all this with relative ease using the 4 screws on the base plates... does anyone know how to do this? Apparently instruction on how to do it come with the helmets but my box is unreachable in the loft. Help very much appreciated ![]() |

This you want this one
http://www.shoei-europe.com/upload/m...ing_visior.pdf It's a PITA as there's not enough play to pull it back far enough really. My dark smoke is quieter than my clear visor though, so it's not all in the mechanism. |

Spend a good hour on it last night.
The visor seals perfect all around now, it does not open very well using the little lever but more importantly it locks solid so cant flip up whilst on the move.... hopefull should be quiter now |
