New Arai Christmas Present

Mr Amanda took me out to look at helmets today. I have a really cheap pink "VCan" helmet that is too big now, noisy and seems massive on my head.

I am completely won over by the Arai Astro Light!!! I went to try on the Shark cos some of their designs are amazing but after trying both the Arai and Shoei I realise the difference between a sandal and a fluffy slipper (Shark is the sandal in this comparison!!!) lol

I did a search regarding the astro light and see a few members have them. Any thing I should know before going back to buy it tomorrow???? This is the one I'm gettting ......

Theyve stopped making the astro now i believe so it should be quiet cheap, my Dad hasnt had any issues with his apart from he couldnt get on with the breath gaurd thing in front of his nose, also arai dealers do free services on all arais to keep th visor mechanism in the right place free moving etc etc i even got a service book when my condor was first done

That's nice! Don't realy think you can go wrong with an Arai. I have never tried one on but I found that Shoei XR1000 didn't fit me well at all and I know have a Shark RSF3, which I love to bits, sooo comfortable and a really good fit for me.

Main thing is, if it fits you well!

Yeah they have this "Walker" one. Now it just comes in black, white silver and blue. Mr Amanda keeps saying don't I want the silver lol He thinks this one is a bit load but I just said it suits me. Yeah that's about right, I don't mind admitting it!!!!
