Default Opinions from style gurus of the org.

Ive just fitted some of those front and rear spindle sliders (the threaded bar ones that go through the front and rear spindles with sliders on each side) they are unbranded ones and tbh do look abit cheap but my question is are they a worth while addition? or are they rubbish and just make your ride look toss? anyone else got these? or more to the point has anyone ever had an off with these fitted and did they work? I'll sort some piccys out soon and you can see what i mean.

Given your love of hedges, is it worth the risk??...

But seriously, I scuffed the bottom of the swingarm and fork bottoms coming off the 675 - they will touch the ground if you're sliding

The enormous ones on the 560 saved all the damage when I slid around on the track...

Swingarm sliders saved some damage on SV in a crash. Not tried the fork sliders but willg et some soon.

Mine have never touched down, I think handlebars must hit first.

From the literally dozens of offs I had Supermoto racing with them they are definitely worthwhile, but do make sure you use some decent size rod through the middle. The cheap little 6mm stuff they normally come with tends to stretch and bend so the bobbin simply gets ripped off, which means you either have to waste time stopping to pick it back up (and trust me you don't want to keep racing with 30cm of metal rod shoved down your leathers) or lose it, which gets expensive after a while. Seriously, 8mm stainless rod is much stronger and cooler (but also heavier, remember this is unsprung weight) and skateboard wheels are cheaper and come in a variety of colours.
