Bet she's gonna start telling us about how in Portugal you can cook chestnuts just by leaving them out on your balcony...

Mmmm chestnuts my grandad used to do them on the gas fire by placing them through the wire not as enticing as that pan but well worth it when we ate them

I just came back from the west of the algarve this afternoon

I had chestnuts cooked like that outside an old bar the other day ..
somthing to do wit St. Martins day ? in Portugal

We had fantastic weather right untill we drove into the airport this morning .. looked like it was going to start raining

Caz650īs yup portuguese love their stīs days.. any excuse for what they consider fireworks to be (not actually let off at night, and not actually pretty.. just a flash bang things let off every flippin hour!)

Hope you guys had a good holiday at least you had good weather for the most part.

I had some chestnuts out the oven last week. Flatmate brought them home. Chestnuts are yummy.

but crimbo???? Well i had a bag of humbugs somewhere about but i cant find em now.
